Melbourne City stars Steven Ugarkovic and Holly McNamara have been named in the A-Leagues Fantasy Team of the Week following standout performances over the weekend.
Ugarkovic had a stellar performance in the middle of the park on Friday night, with the midfielder netting a sublime opener in City’s 2-0 win over Sydney FC – his first goal in City colours.
The City midfielder was recognised for his performance, recording 19 fantasy points with a spot in the Round 3 A-League Men’s Fantasy Team of the Week.
On Sunday afternoon, it was McNamara who shone with a Player of the Match performance.
The 20-year-old netted a wonder strike of an equaliser before producing a brilliant assist for Hannah Wilkinson in City’s 2-2 draw with Western United.
The attacker’s performance saw her named in the Round 3 Liberty A-League Fantasy Team of the Week with 16 fantasy points.
