Julia Grosso

City’s 2022/23 Player of the Year, Julia Grosso, has re-committed to the Club for the next two years.

The American defender made an instant impact in her first season down under, fitting seamlessly into a City squad that finished third on the table. Grosso appeared in every game last season, with the fullback netting her maiden professional goal against Perth Glory.

After joining the club from the US college system, where she played at the University of Kentucky, the 24-year-old wasted no time showcasing pace and desire to make dangerous forward runs – quickly becoming a fan favourite.
