Shelby McMahon
12 Midfielder
Junior Matildas star, Shelby McMahon, inked a new three-year deal with City ahead of the 2024/25 season.
McMahon first joined City as an injury replacement for Holly McNamara in January 2024, before the then 15-year-old showcased why she is highly regarded as one of Australia’s brightest young talents, quickly establishing herself as a standout youngster in the competition.
Bursting onto the scene as a reliable midfielder with composure beyond her years, McMahon netted two crucial goals in her maiden season.
A moment fitting of her debut campaign, McMahon’s first professional goal saw her net the sealer to secure City’s 2023/24 A-League Women’s Premiers Plate triumph, before she again found the back of the net against Newcastle Jets in the Semi Finals.
