A-League and Westfield W-League fixture update

Balls

Melbourne City FC can today confirm the following fixture changes due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak in New South Wales and subsequent border closures.

Round 1 will now see City travel to Brisbane to face the Roar in a double header – with W-League action kicking off at 4.35pm and the A-League clash to follow at 7.05pm.

City’s first A-League home match will now be on Sunday January 17 when we finally return to AAMI Park to host Western United!

City’s A-League fixture in round 2 away to Adelaide will go ahead as planned but matches against Newcastle and Macarthur in round 3 are both postponed, as well as the round 6 A-League fixture against Wellington Phoenix in Wollongong.

More news on both fixtures will be communicated as it comes to hand.
