Get your calendars ready City fans, we’ve today learnt the first few details of our 2024/25 A-Leagues fixtures!
Key dates for our Men’s and Women’s domestic campaigns have been revealed as the hype begins to build for the new season, while Unite Round fixtures have also been locked in.

ROUND 1
The 2024/25 A-League Men’s season will begin on Friday 18 October as the league expands to a 13-team, 29-round regular season following the introduction of Auckland FC.
You’ll be able to watch our City Women in action as early as the first week of October when we take to the pitch for the inaugural AFC Women’s Champions League, before we return home to begin the domestic season in November.
A 23-game regular season will begin on Friday 1 November as we set our sights on becoming back-to-back Premiers.
UNITE ROUND
Unite Round will be held between November 22-24 in Sydney and will feature 12 games across the A-League Men’s and Women’s competitions.
Our City Women are set for a blockbuster Grand Final rematch against Sydney FC on Sunday 24 November at Leichhardt Oval, while our Men’s team have a bye.

Earlier that day Canberra United will take on Perth Glory at the same venue, with all full-season and ALW City Members able to redeem a complimentary ticket to attend the doubleheader.
FINALS DETAILS
Despite both competition’s seasons being extended for 2024/25, the Finals formats will remain unchanged with the top six teams to qualify.
A-League Women’s Finals football will kick off from April 25-27, with the Grand Final set to be played on the weekend of 16-18 May.
The Men’s Finals Series will be fought out throughout May, beginning on Friday the 9th ahead of the Grand Final on the weekend of 30 May-1 June.
