“It’s so exciting that you don’t try and control the emotions, you just let it all come out,” Tilio told 10 News First.
“When it comes to Saturday night, you express yourself [as a footballer] on the night and we’re really looking forward to the big game.”
Tilio and his teammates will be looking to make it two wins from two to open the 2024/25 season after a resilient win over the Newcastle Jets on the road in Round 1.
“I think it’s massive, a first away win for the season,” the match-winner reflected.
“Going down to 10-men, we had to grind it out and showed great character within the team so we’re happy with the result.
“For me [personally], it’s most important to be consistent in playing and playing well… and to contribute to the team.”
