City heads into the blockbuster encounter on the back of a hard-fought win away to Western Sydney last weekend. Making her first start of the season, Holly McNamara proved to be the difference, scoring the eventual winner in the 14th minute after a brilliant assist from Mariana Speckmaier.
Victory has also been in strong form, riding a three-game winning streak that has propelled them to second on the table—just two points behind us.
With the Derby fast approaching, Matricciani has confirmed his extended squad for the clash.
Canadian striker Kathryn Harvey and young attacker Kiera Meyers have both been promoted, while there are no omissions from the team that secured three points last weekend.
Bryleeh Henry (concussion) will miss another game but is tracking well for a return next week.
