Our bags are packed as both City squads head away for a pair of crucial A-Leagues fixtures this weekend.
Aurelio Vidmar’s Men’s side will cross the Tasman to face Wellington Phoenix on Friday evening (AEDT), while Michael Matricciani’s Women’s team will return from the international break to take on Canberra United in the nation’s capital on Saturday afternoon.
The final Melbourne Derby of the A-League Men’s season played out last weekend, with City and Victory once again sharing the points in an action-packed contest.
Meanwhile, the Women’s team hasn’t been in action since a hard-fought comeback win over Sydney FC on February 15, with the international break providing a short pause in their undefeated campaign.
Heading into this weekend’s away fixtures, both squads remain largely unchanged, with no confirmed omissions from last time out.
Harry Shillington and Ben Mazzeo have been promoted to the Men’s squad for the trip to New Zealand, while Kathryn Harvey and Emilia Murray have been added to the Women’s extended squad.
