Melbourne City trio Holly McNamara, Bryleeh Henry and Alexia Apostolakis have been named in the Matildas squad for the upcoming FIFA Women’s International Window in June and July.
The Matildas will take on Slovenia and Panama across four international friendlies in Western Australia, with newly appointed Head Coach Joe Montemurro overseeing his first camp at the helm.
McNamara has been selected for all four fixtures, capping off a stellar individual season. The dynamic attacker claimed the A-League Women’s Golden Boot, was voted captain of the PFA Team of the Season after receiving the highest number of peer votes, and was named Melbourne City’s 2024/25 Players’ Player of the Year.

Henry and Apostolakis will join the squad for the latter two matches against Panama. Henry played a key role in City’s strong finish to the season, delivering crucial goals during the run-in to help secure the Club’s unbeaten Premiership-winning campaign.
Apostolakis’ first official call-up continues a breakout year for the young defender, following her debut A-League Women’s season, Rising Star recognition at the Club’s Player of the Year Awards, and recent selection in the Young Matildas squad for their June/July domestic camp.

All three players were instrumental across City’s 2024/25 campaign and will now look to continue their momentum on the international stage.
