Melbourne City FC duo Rebekah Stott and Deven Jackson have been selected in the Football Ferns squad for New Zealand’s upcoming FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 Oceania Qualifiers, set to take place this month in Honiara, Solomon Islands.
The Football Ferns will begin their qualifying journey as part of Group A, opening their campaign against Samoa on Friday 27 February (1pm AEDT), before facing host nation Solomon Islands on Monday 2 March (5pm AEDT) and American Samoa on Thursday 5 March (1pm AEDT).

All Group A matches will be played at the National Stadium in Honiara.
The top two teams from Group A will progress to the knockout stage, where they will meet the top two sides from Group B, contested in Fiji. The Semi-Finals and Final of the Oceania Qualifiers will be held in Aotearoa New Zealand in April, with a place at the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 in Brazil on the line.
Stott and Jackson will depart for qualifiers following City’s Round 18 Ninja A-League clash with Central Coast Mariners in Gosford.
You can catch both Ferns in action for City this week, when Michael Matricciani’s side host Western Sydney Wanderers on Wednesday 4 February, before taking on Brisbane Roar on Sunday. Get your tickets here.
