Be at AAMI Park this Sunday as we celebrate a truly historic achievement, with our City Women set to lift the Premiers Plate on home soil.
Last month, we etched our name into the record books by becoming the first Ninja A-League team to secure three consecutive Premiers Plates across a full home-and-away season. It marked the fifth time in Club history our Women’s side has been crowned Premiers, and the ninth piece of silverware since joining the competition in 2015/16.
To recognise this incredible achievement, the Premiers Plate will be presented at half-time of Sunday’s Isuzu UTE A-League clash between our Men’s team and Adelaide United – a special moment for our entire City family to come together and celebrate the success of this remarkable group.
Together with our players and staff, we’ve chosen Sunday’s fixture as the ideal moment to celebrate this achievement with as many of our fans as possible.
We want to make sure that nobody misses out, so all City Women’s Members can scan in using their membership barcode to get free access to the match. Further detail will be sent via email later today.
The celebrations will extend well beyond the half-time presentation, with all Women’s players set to be in City Square from 4:45pm to 5:15pm for signings and selfies, then later on, heading to the South End to celebrate directly with our fans following the Plate lift.
A limited number of Premiers posters will also be available in City Square, so be sure to get in early to secure one.
