Melbourne City FC is pleased to announce the signing of Canadian goalkeeper, Lysianne Proulx, on a two-year deal.
The 24-year-old shot-stopper was a member of Canada’s 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup squad and joins City after a stint with Portuguese club S.C.U. Torreense, where she made 17 appearances last season.
Before breaking into Canada’s senior squad, Proulx was an integral member of Canada’s youth program. She represented the country of her birth at two U-17 FIFA Women’s World Cup tournaments and the 2016 U-20 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
