Two big games are on the agenda this week for Melbourne City, with our Men’s squad back at home and our Women’s team returning to action following the international break.
After a week and a half on the road which saw mixed results, Aurelio Vidmar has now taken charge of our Men’s team until the end of the 2023/24 season.
The A-League Women’s international break meant we didn’t take to the pitch last weekend after winning our first two matches to open the season, but we return to face Western United at City Vista on Sunday afternoon.
Both Vidmar and Dario Vidosic have now confirmed their squads ahead of the weekend’s fixtures.

Tolgay Arslan is set to return after missing last Sunday’s loss to Adelaide, while Academy product, Ben Mazzeo, has been promoted to the squad to face Sydney FC.
Looking ahead to Sunday, we could be set to see Leah Davidson and Karly Roestbakken in action for the first time this season after the star duo missed the opening two rounds due to injury.
The news isn’t as good for Bryleeh Henry, who is set to miss the next few weeks due to a knee injury.
