Fixture Update: Big win for City fans with doubleheader fixture confirmed

Fixture Update: Big win for City fans with doubleheader fixture confirmed

In what is a big win for City fans, an additional doubleheader has been added to our January schedule.

Following the success of December’s AAMI Park doubleheaders against Melbourne Victory and Brisbane Roar, as well as positive fan feedback, we’ve worked closely with the A-Leagues to make the following fixture update:

Thursday 25 January – Australia Day Eve

Kick off your long weekend next Thursday evening with a feast of football, as our City Women host Western United at 5:00pm in a fixture that has been brought forward from Sunday 28 January.

Straight after that, Aurelio Vidmar’s Men’s squad take on Adelaide United as scheduled at 7:45pm.

If the last City doubleheader against Brisbane is anything to go by, there’ll be plenty of goals for fans to celebrate.

Key Timings

5:00pm: Melbourne City FC v Western United (A-League Women)

7:45pm: Melbourne City FC v Adelaide United (A-League Men)

GET TICKETS

City A-League Women’s Members and Liberty A-League Pass Holders

City A-League Women’s members and Liberty A-League Pass holders will be able to scan in using their membership card as usual, with General Admission seating available in the north end of AAMI Park.

We are continuing to work closely with the A-Leagues and relevant teams to identify additional double-header opportunities and hope to have more announcements on this in the coming weeks.
