Saturdays don’t get much bigger than what’s in store this weekend with both City squads in action on the same day.
All fans will be able to attend our 1v3 Women’s fixture against Sydney FC at City Football Academy simply by redeeming a free ticket via Ticketbooth.
For those who won’t be able to make the trip to Casey Fields, you’d imagine there will be plenty of double screens set up for City fans with our Men’s clash in Brisbane set to kick-off at 6pm – an hour after the ALW match.
Both Head Coaches have now confirmed their squads and there are plenty of big names among both the Ins and Outs.
In the (slightly) earlier kick-off, Dario Vidosic will be without star duo Rebekah Stott and Hannah Wilkinson with both currently away on Football Ferns duty.
A quartet of youngsters have been added to the extended squad, including Shelby McMahon with the 15-year-old a chance to make her professional debut.
Over to Brisbane, Aurelio Vidmar will have a big gap to fill following a red card to Tolgay Arslan last Friday night.
It could be a simple replacement though, with Marco Tilio added straight to the squad after returning to Melbourne on Sunday and now having a week of training under his belt.
He’s not the only big inclusion, with Marin Jakolis and Samuel Souprayen both included in the squad as the duo look to make their returns from injury.
