Team News: Young Matildas stars return for Mariners clash

Melbourne City will be looking to mark our final home match of the A-League Women’s season with an all-important three points this Saturday.

Set to host Central Coast Mariners at City Football Academy, a win is all that will be on the minds of Dario Vidosic’s squad in the penultimate weekend of the regular season.

We remain right in the mix for a top-two finish which provides a path directly to the Semi Finals, but six points from our final two fixtures will be key – and that starts on Saturday.

Head Coach Dario Vidosic has now confirmed his squad and there are plenty of big inclusions coming back into the fray.

Our trio of young Matildas representatives; Naomi Chinnama, Daniela Galic and Tijan McKenna, have all been included in the extended squad after returning to the country on Monday.

Rhianna Pollicina is also a chance to return after being kept out of the Melbourne Derby as a precaution after copping a knock in training late last week.
