Melbourne City FC is excited to announce a new multi-year partnership with ctrl:cyber, a leading innovator in cybersecurity.
This exciting collaboration will see ctrl:cyber become the naming rights partner of Melbourne City’s training and administration facility at Casey Fields, as well as the home pitch for the A-League women’s team - set to host a minimum of six A-League Women’s matches during the 2024/25 season.
To be known as the City Football Academy, Melbourne – ctrl:cyber Campus and the ctrl:cyber Pitch respectively, this significant partnership aligns with Ctrl’s commitment to empowering women on the field and in the digital space and inspiring the next generation through education and opportunity.
But ctrl:cyber’s presence doesn’t stop there. Their logo will also feature prominently across the kits of our A-League Men’s, Women’s, and Youth Academy teams. So, whether you’re cheering on the stars of today or the legends of tomorrow, ctrl:cyber will be part of every moment.
You’re likely already familiar with ctrl:cyber – or as they were known until recently, CTRL Cybersecurity.
Since 2017, they’ve provided robust cybersecurity solutions and resilient digital environments for industry leaders and global brands. Not your typical cybersecurity company; at the heart of Ctrl’s success is their focus on collaboration.
Their philosophy, ‘Cyber Together,’ is built on the belief that advancing excellence in cybersecurity is best achieved through close collaboration—with clients, industry peers, and like-minded innovators. By fostering genuine connections and working collectively, Ctrl drives progress and pushes the industry forward.
Just as Melbourne City builds a strong, winning team on the pitch, Ctrl is proud to bring that same spirit of collaboration to the football field—digitally, of course—by joining forces with our club.
Brad Rowse, CEO of Melbourne City FC, couldn’t be more enthusiastic about the partnership:
“We are thrilled to welcome ctrl:cyber as a major partner of Melbourne City FC. Their commitment to excellence and innovation perfectly aligns with our club values. From the first teams to the Youth Academy, we look forward to seeing ctrl:cyber’s name and brand featured prominently throughout our facilities and on our kits over the next three years.”
Steve Williams, CEO of ctrl:cyber, echoed his excitement:
“At Ctrl, we believe in making a lasting impact beyond business. Our partnership with Melbourne City FC reflects our shared commitment to developing future talent, particularly among women and young people, both in football and technology. By promoting diversity and inclusivity, we are excited to help build a safer, more connected future while fostering the next generation of leaders in both sport and cybersecurity.”
The partnership will officially launch ahead of the 2024/25 season, with Ctrl’s branding becoming a permanent fixture at the club’s training ground and playing kits.
