ALW TEAM NEWS: HUGE ins confirmed for Saturday’s Fan Festival!

Currently five wins from five in all competitions, Melbourne City boasts a perfect record heading into an action-packed Saturday at City Football Academy.

The fun kicks off at 1:30pm with the City Fan Festival, presented by Federation University providing plenty to do for the whole family ahead of kick-off.

You’ll be able to meet and grab selfies with all of your favourite Men’s players, take part in a range of fun games and activities, plus stock up on City merch and enjoy a variety of food options.

We’ll then shift our attention to the ctrl:cyber Pitch where our City Women look to keep up their winning start to the season.

After returning from a perfect AFC Women’s Champions League Group Stage, City has now overcome half-time deficits in our first two Ninja A-League fixtures to sit top of the table two rounds in.

Head Coach Michael Matricciani has now locked in his extended squad to face Central Coast on Saturday, with two huge inclusions coming in for the first time this season.

Captain Rebekah Stott is set to be available after a hamstring niggle on the eve of the season and is joined in the squad by young gun Shelby McMahon who has recovered from a quad injury.

The experience of our all-time appearance leader in Stott will be welcomed this weekend, while the spark McMahon can provide – as shown late last season – gives Matricciani another avenue to goal in an already stacked attack.
