YOUNGY’S INFLUENCE

“It’s been great, obviously last year gaining lots of experience behind Youngy [Jamie Young] training session after training session, just picking up little details trying to make myself better.

“The first month into the season has been great for myself, and for the team. Being able to get back-to-back games in, four games straight, to take my opportunity has been great, and to help the team out and get the best results that we can.”

POSSESSION-BASED FOOTBALL

“I love it [playing possession-based football], I love being involved in the build up with the boys in any way I can, whether that’s making saves or with the ball at my feet for 90 minutes, I love it.

“I love being able to play my part in the team, move the ball around and help break the opposition down as best as we can as a team.”

FOCUSED ON THE WANDERERS

“Three games out of four with nine points sitting up in the top half of the table, it’s positive and the boys are positive. Obviously, a couple of weeks break now since the last game, but the boys are buzzing to get out there and we’re looking forward to a big game this weekend.

“I think it’s [tomorrow] going to be a really tough game, I think the results, they don’t really match what type of team they are. They’re a top team and they’ve got a lot of attacking power up front that can do a lot of damage so we need to be on our game tomorrow.

“We’re really buzzing to get out there tomorrow and get a result.”
