Melbourne City will host some of the brightest young stars in football later this month at the Next Gen Tournament.
Hosting elite academies, the tournament is the first of its kind and will take place at the City Football Academy, Melbourne – ctrl:cyber Campus at Casey Fields for U15 Boys between Friday 20 December and Sunday 22 December.
An opportunity to showcase some of Australia’s most talented youngsters, the event will also host Junior national team staff and is open to the general public.
A select number of fixtures from the tournament will be live streamed.

The Next Gen Tournament will give players an opportunity to gain valuable experience travelling and performing like a professional footballer as they take on some of the best clubs in the country.
On Sunday 22 December, there will be several Melbourne Derby exhibition matches with City’s U17, U21 and Youth teams hosting Melbourne Victory.
The tournament will also feature teams from Glen Eira FC, Green Gully, Western Sydney Wanderers FC and Western United FC.
