Melbourne City’s Holly McNamara and Kai Trewin have been recognised for their performances in March, earning nominations for the Professional Footballers Australia (PFA) Player of the Month award.
Recently called up to represent the Matildas in the March-April FIFA International Window, McNamara has been one of the A-League Women’s most dangerous attackers and received the PFA Player of the Month award for February.

The City striker has found the back of the net 12 times in 15 games, making her the equal top-scorer in the Golden Boot race. In March, she netted six goals in four appearances for City, including her first goal in the AFC Women’s Champions League.
On the Men’s side, Trewin has continued to demonstrate his importance to the squad with his versatility and consistency.
Whether anchoring the midfield or leading the backline in central defence, he has been one of the team’s most important figures this season.
