Melbourne City will be strongly represented at the 2025 Dolan Warren Awards, with a trio of standout players nominated for some of the competition’s most prestigious honours following their history-making Invincibles season.

FAN FAVOURITE: Stott and McNamara nominated for Shark Fan Player of the Year
Two of City’s finest, Captain Rebekah Stott and star striker Holly McNamara, are in contention for the Shark Fan Player of the Year, a fan-driven award recognising the most outstanding player across the season.
It was another stellar season in City colours for McNamara whose dominance in attack saw her claim the 2024/25 Ninja A-League Golden Boot award, finishing with 15 goals in just 17 appearances.
While Stott’s nomination caps off another typically rock-solid season at the heart of City’s defence, where her leadership and consistency have been to City’s unbeaten campaign.
Both McNamara and Stott have been nominated for the award after being in the league’s Top 10 FotMob end of season ratings.
Young Gun Recognition: Apostolakis Nominated for Boost Mobile Young Footballer of the Year
In her first season at City, Alexia Apostolakis wasted no time making her mark.
Nominated for her standout December, the versatile defender is a well-deserved candidate for the Boost Mobile Young Footballer of the Year Award.
Firmly among the league’s brightest young talents, Apostolakis is nominated for the award which is crowned through a combination of panel votes and fan votes.
Magic Moments: Speckmaier & Bosch Up for eToro Playmaker of the Year
Creative duo Mariana Speckmaier and Lourdes Bosch have each been nominated for eToro Playmaker of the Year, awarded to the players behind the best assists of the season.
Bosch has been nominated for her brilliant solo run against Melbourne Victory in Round 2, while Speckmaier’s dazzling feet in Round 13 against Western Sydney Wanderers has also seen her nominated.
