Melbourne City star Marco Tilio has been recognised for his standout performances in April/May, earning a nomination for the Professional Footballers Australia (PFA) Player of the Month award.
The 23-year-old was instrumental in City’s strong finish to the regular season, helping the team secure AFC Champions League Elite qualification for the 2025/26 campaign.
Tilio has continued to get stronger as the season has progressed, and took his season tally to five goals and four assists after an impressive month of football.
His creativity in the final third and his ability to unlock the opposition makes him one of the league’s most lethal attackers and has been crucial to City’s strong finish to the regular season.
As City begin preparations for their 2024/25 Finals Series, Tilio will be looking to continue his run of form in search of more silverware.
The PFA Player of the Month award is voted on by players across the A-Leagues.
