Melbourne City forward, Lourdes Bosch, has been handed a two-match suspension following a red card in Sunday’s Ninja A-League Semi-Final Second Leg.
Bosch was shown a straight red card following an incident with Central Coast’s Brooke Nunn in the 25th minute.
Football Australia’s independent Match Review Panel sat on Monday and determined that Bosch would be suspended for two matches – the minimum sanction for the offence ‘Assault on a player (e.g. violent conduct when not challenging for the ball)’ under the A-Leagues Disciplinary Regulations.
Bosch will miss the first two matches of the 2025/26 Ninja A-League season but remains available for selection for City’s upcoming AFC Women’s Champions League Semi-Final against Hyundai Steel Red Angels Women’s FC.
