Melbourne City players have been hitting the road across Victoria, connecting with local junior clubs as part of the Club’s Macca’s City Clubs program, a key initiative that supports the growth of football both on and off the pitch.
Over the past month, City stars made unforgettable visits to Springvale City FC, South East United, and Croydon Ranges FC, delivering memorable moments for the next generation of football stars.
Springvale City FC Welcomes Memeti, Jeggo and Souprayen
Springvale City FC opened its doors to Medin Memeti, Jimmy Jeggo, and Samuel Souprayen, who were special guests during junior training sessions and took part in an interactive Q&A with the club’s teams.

The trio also spent time signing autographs, posing for photos, and handing out giveaways much to the delight of young fans and families in attendance.
South East United Hosts Lopane, Ugarkovic and Ochsenham
South East United was buzzing with excitement as Dakota Ochsenham, Alessandro Lopane, and Steven Ugarkovic joined the club’s young footballers for an evening of training.

Highlights included Dakota taking up position between the posts during a spirited training session and providing valuable advice to the club’s under-17s squad. The visit was rounded out with engaging Q&A sessions, autograph signings, and plenty of giveaways.
Croydon Ranges Reflect on a Growing Connection
Over at Croydon Ranges, the club was thrilled to welcome Andreas Kuen, Harry Politidis, Lourdes Bosch, and Mariana Speckmaier to their home ground. The players spent quality time engaging with juniors through skills sessions and photo opportunities.
“It was awesome to have Andreas, Harry, Lourdes and Mariana out to Croydon. Our juniors loved the experience,” said Daniel Rossiter, Junior Secretary of Croydon Ranges.
“We’ve been part of the City Clubs program for three years and the connection has grown year on year. There are certainly a lot of City fans amongst our club!”
