CALLED UP: City trio selected for Australia U23 squad

Melbourne City trio Bryleeh Henry, Leticia McKenna and Emilia Murray have been named in the Australia U23 squad for the upcoming ASEAN Women’s Championship MSIG Serenity Cup™ 2025.

Set to be held in Vietnam from 6-19 August, the tournament marks a return to international action for the U23s.

Henry, McKenna and Murray have each earned selection following strong seasons in City colours, contributing to the Club’s 2024/25 A-League Women’s Premiership success.

The call-up continues a busy international calendar for Henry, who also featured for the Matildas in June’s international window, while McKenna and Murray will be looking to further build on their international experience in green and gold.

Australia has been drawn in Group B alongside Myanmar, the Philippines and Timor-Leste, with all group matches to be played at Viet Tri Stadium in Phu Tho.

The top two sides from each group will progress to the semi-finals, ahead of the final on Tuesday 19 August.
