Melbourne City is opening its doors to the next generation of footballers, with Academy open trials locked in for September at the City Football Academy – ctrl:cyber Campus, Casey Fields.
This year marks an exciting new chapter with the launch of our dedicated Girls Academy, which will see squads competing in NPLW U20 and senior competitions from 2026. To kick things off, we’re holding our first-ever open trials for girls born between 2007 and 2010.

Alongside this milestone, our Boys Academy will also host trials for players born between 2012–2014. Both programs are free to enter, but places are strictly reserved for players who are serious about their development and ready to commit to a professional training environment.
The City Academy has built a reputation as one of the country’s leading pathways to the professional game. Recent Socceroos stars Jordan Bos and Connor Metcalfe came through the system, while the Club has also played a key role in the development of recent Matildas such as Holly McNamara and Alexia Apostolakis.
With the opportunity to follow in those footsteps, there’s never been a better time to test yourself in City colours.
