Melbourne City is proud to host a dedicated Movember x Scotts Lawn Builder match at our home opener this Saturday to raise awareness for men’s mental health.
This Spring, our wonderful partners at Scotts and Movember have teamed up for the ‘Grow or Mow?’ challenge, encouraging Aussies to step outside, connect with their neighbours over the fence or at the mailbox, nurture their lawns, and in turn, look after their own mental wellbeing.
Movember exists to change the face of men’s health, for good. From mental health and suicide prevention to cancer care and early detection, we’re tackling the biggest health issues facing men today.
We will host a dedicated Mo Zone at City Square ahead of kick-off in our clash with Perth Glory this Saturday 25 October. City fans can head to the Mo Zone and enjoy a photo with the Club’s A-League Men’s Championship trophy and A-League Women’s Premiers Plate.
You can also get your hands on a player mask featuring a mo, as we will be giving away 1,000 Movember x Scotts Lawn Builder player face masks on the concourse.
Our very own City players are also getting behind the cause with the likes of Lawrence Wong, Beckham Baker, and Zane Schreiber having all signed up to support Movember and will be growing a mo throughout November.
You too can support a great cause by joining the Melbourne City team!
