Melbourne City stars Max Caputo, Patrick Beach, Holly McNamara and Shelby McMahon have all been nominated for the Professional Footballers Australia (PFA) Player of the Month award for November.
The award, voted on by players across the respective A-Leagues, recognises exceptional individual performances, and City’s nominees have certainly delivered throughout the month.
Caputo’s nomination comes after a strong start to the 2025/26 campaign for the exciting young striker, who is an equal leader in the league’s Golden Boot race with four goals.

November saw the attacker play an instrumental role in City’s 2-0 Melbourne Derby win, after opening the scoring inside the first two minutes.
At the other end of the pitch, Patrick Beach has been a rock between the sticks. The shot-stopper has enjoyed an exceptional start to the season, keeping two clean sheets in three November A-League matches, form that saw him deservedly named the club’s Etihad Men’s Player of the Month.
In the A-League Women’s squad, Holly McNamara has picked up right where she left off last season.
The reigning Golden Boot winner has already netted two goals and provided two assists across City’s opening two fixtures. Her standout opening month also saw her take out City’s Etihad Women’s Player of the Month award for November.
Joining her in the spotlight is Shelby McMahon, who has burst onto the scene with a string of standout performances on the wing.

The versatile youngster has bagged three goals in City’s first two A-League games, including an impressive brace against the Central Coast Mariners.
The winners of the peer-voted awards will be announced next week.
McNamara, McMahon and City’s Women’s team will be back in action this Sunday 7 December following the international break when they host Wellington Phoenix at ctrl:cyber Pitch.
