PFA Player of the Month: Rebekah Stott claims final ALW POTM of the season

Melbourne City Captain Rebekah Stott has been named the PFA Player of the Month for March/April, becoming the first City player to take home the peer-voted award this season.

Stott was one of six players nominated from across the league, earning the highest number of votes from her fellow players to secure the honour.

The recognition comes after a standout period for the City skipper, who played a crucial role at both ends of the pitch as City closed out the regular season unbeaten to secure a historic third consecutive Premiers Plate.

Across the month, City recorded three wins and one draw, with Stott instrumental in maintaining defensive solidity while also contributing in attack during key moments.

The award caps off an outstanding regular season for the experienced defender, who has consistently been among City’s best performers week in and week out.

As captain, Stott’s leadership has been central to City’s continued success, guiding the team through another dominant campaign and helping set the standard in pursuit of further silverware.

Stott will receive a specially designed ball from PFA partners at Park SCC as a result of winning the Player of the Month. Both players will be able to choose to donate 10 balls to one of three charities, Football Empowerment, KitAid Australia and Football United.
