Tickets are now on sale for Melbourne City’s pre-season friendly against Palermo FC, with the two City Football Group clubs set to meet for the first time next month.
The fixture will be played at the Sam Kerr Football Centre in Perth on Friday 7 August, kicking off at 7:00pm AWST (9:00pm AEST), as part of the second edition of the Anglo-Palermitan Trophy.
Supporters wishing to attend the match can now secure their seats via Megatix.
The fixture will provide City with another valuable test ahead of the 2026/27 campaign, with Aurelio Vidmar’s side taking on one of Italy’s most historic clubs during Palermo’s first-ever tour of Australia.
As announced last week, while the Club explored a number of opportunities to stage the match in Melbourne, scheduling and logistical considerations surrounding Palermo’s Australian tour ultimately meant Perth was the only feasible location for the fixture.
Broadcast details for supporters unable to attend the match in Perth will be confirmed closer to matchday.
The match forms part of Palermo’s historic visit to Australia, with the Rosanero also set to face Juventus as part of the Calcio Italiano festival.
