The countdown is on.
Football Australia has confirmed the fixture details for our Hahn Australia Cup Round of 16 clash, with Melbourne City set to travel to Queensland to face Lions FC on Tuesday 11 August.
Kick-off is scheduled for 7:30pm AEST at Spencer Park, with a place in the Quarter Finals on the line.
The fixture will be the first-ever meeting between the two clubs after Thursday night’s draw paired us with the NPL Queensland leaders, who booked their place in the Round of 16 after upsetting Perth Glory in a penalty shootout.
We secured our spot in the last 16 with a composed 3-0 victory over Weston Bears FC, thanks to goals from Academy graduates Lawrence Wong, Besian Kutleshi and Medin Memeti.
The clash will be broadcast live and free via 10 streaming, and simulcast on Football Australia’s YouTube channel.
