Two teams. One ticket. Plenty of City football.
The 2026/27 Ninja A-League fixture is officially out, and with the Isuzu UTE A-League schedule already locked in, we can now start circling some of the biggest doubleheaders of the season.
From a Christmas Derby blockbuster to New Year’s Eve on the road, here are the dates City fans won’t want to miss.
Christmas comes early
Our first home doubleheader is also undoubtedly the biggest.
AAMI Park will host a massive Christmas Derby on Saturday 19 December, with our City Women kicking off proceedings against Melbourne Victory at 5:00pm before the Men take centre stage later that night.
And the festive football doesn’t stop there.
Just eight days later we’ll do it all again at AAMI Park, with our Women hosting Sydney FC before the Men welcome Auckland FC for a Trans-Tasman showdown on Sunday 27 December.
Summer sorted
The doubleheader action rolls straight into the new year.
Canberra United and Brisbane Roar come to town on Saturday 16 January, with both City squads in action at AAMI Park across another big day of football.
Our fourth and final home doubleheader arrives at the business end of the season on Sunday 21 March, when our City Women take on Central Coast Mariners before our Men’s squad face Adelaide United.

Fancy taking the show on the road?
There are two particularly big away days to pencil into the calendar, starting with New Year’s Eve.
Just as they did in 2024, both City squads will head to Gosford to take on Central Coast Mariners on Thursday 31 December. Football by the coast followed by New Year’s Eve celebrations? Not a bad way to see out 2026.
Then, on Friday 29 January, we’re Adelaide bound.
Both squads will take on the Reds at Coopers Stadium, making for another perfect excuse to build a City away trip around a full afternoon of football.
There’s one other quirk in the fixture too: each of our Women’s first three away trips; Wellington, Sydney and Brisbane, forms part of a doubleheader.
We might only feature in one half of those days, but whether you’re in the stands or posted up on the couch with Paramount+ fired up, there’ll be no shortage of football to settle in for this season.
