I would like to update you on the ongoing situation involving coronavirus (COVID-19).

We understand the situation involving COVID-19 is constantly evolving day-by-day and we want to keep you informed about the situation.

We are in close contact with the leagues and government organisations to make sure the appropriate measures are in place to ensure the health and wellbeing of our members, fans, players and staff.

Saturday and Sunday’s Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League matches will continue as scheduled under the recommendation of the leagues and Federal Government however we will be taking a range of precautions for everyone’s safety. Please see the league’s statement.

From today, we are limiting physical interaction with our players and staff at matches, events and appearances. Access to City Football Academy will be limited and prevention measures are in place to contain COVID-19.

All pre-match and half-time activations outside the stadium will be cancelled and extra sanitation tools will be in place to prevent the spread of any virus.

If you are feeling unwell or not sure about your health, we advise you not to attend either match.

Members will be updated further on our remaining home matches as the situation continues to unfold. The Official Club Shop will be operating online as normal. You can visit it here.

We will continue to update you as we receive greater clarity on how containment measures will impact the club, and at the appropriate time, endeavour to answer any questions you may have.

For now, we have listened to the advice provided by the leagues, the relevant health authorities and our club medical officers, and taken steps to reduce the risk of infection for our players and staff.

We appreciate your patience around this unique situation and your ongoing support for the club. We’re hoping to bring home the three points in the A-League and our fourth Grand Final berth in the W-League!
