Aloisi disappointed finals dream over

Melbourne Heart FC Head Coach John Aloisi couldn-t hide his disappointment after his side-s 2-0 loss against Brisbane Roar on Sunday.

Before the match, Heart still had hope of qualifying for the Hyundai A-League Finals Series if they picked up maximum points against the Roar and the Central Coast Mariners in the Club-s final game for the 2012-13 season.

However, a Bersart Berisha penalty and a scintillating Thomas Broich strike caused those dreams to come crashing down on Sunday as Aloisi addressed the reality his side-s season was effectively over.

“It-s disappointing because it means our season is over now; we can-t possibly make finals,” Aloisi said.

“I thought that Brisbane deserved the win…. They were a lot better than us, especially in the first half.”
