Melbourne Heart FC’s top scorer Josip Tadic is ‘hungry’ ahead of tomorrow night’s clash with Adelaide United, according to Head Coach John Aloisi.
Tadic has had a lengthy lay-off after he sustained a broke toe in the last Melbourne Derby back in February.
Tadic missed a month of football as a result of the injury and the required rehabilitation.
However, the 25-year-old Croatian returned to action in the form of full training this week and Aloisi has spoken of the striker’s desire to return to first team football tomorrow night.
“He looked very sharp this week; he-s hungry to play and he-ll come into the squad,” Aloisi said.
“He looked good, he looked hungry and ready to play.”
Tadic has netted six times for the Red and White this season and could feature either in Aloisi’s starting line-up or off the bench, strengthening Aloisi’s attacking options.
