Melbourne City FC can confirm that players from its Liberty A-League Women’s squad have tested positive for COVID-19.

All cases involve double-vaccinated individuals who are currently in isolation and report to be in good health.

As a result of the positive cases, the A-Leagues has determined that the upcoming fixture against Newcastle Jets on January 2 2022 be postponed.

The Club will work with the A-Leagues and Newcastle Jets to confirm a new date for the match as soon as possible.
