A new rivalry begins as we head to Geelong to take on Western United at GMHBA Stadium on Sunday evening. See all you need to know ahead of the match.
As this is an away game all Melbourne City members and fans are required to purchase tickets to the match. Melbourne City memberships will not allow you access to the stadium.
Tickets are available online via Ticketek or at the ground from 4:30pm.

Please note, active fans are encouraged to sit in the Ford Stand, while general admission seating is available for all other fans.
How to get there
The best and most effective way to catch public transport from Melbourne to Geelong is catching the VLine from Southern Cross Station to South Geelong Station. South Geelong Station is a short three minute stroll from GMHBA Stadium.
Train times for Sunday’s match are as follows:
VLine from Southern Cross – South Geelong
- 2:30pm – 3:34pm
- 3:10pm – 4:14pm
- 3:50pm – 4:54pm
- 4:30pm – 5:34pm
VLine from South Geelong – Southern Cross
- 8:46pm – 9:55pm
- 9:26pm – 10:35pm
- 10:46pm – 11:55pm

Driving to the game? There will be limited parking available at the venue.
Limited paid public car parking is available within the Kardinia Park Precinct. Car parking fees:
The car parking within the precinct will be open:
- 3.45 pm
Car parking can be accessed from:
- Entrance A: via Kilgour Street
- Entrance C: via Park Crescent
- Entrance E: via The City end of Moorabool Street (accessible parking only) All corporate guests parking in A3 will be required to enter via Entrance B – Latrobe Terrace.
There is also available car parking in the surrounding streets. The drop off area is located at carpark A2 via Kilgour Street. Please note, some car parks are closed in inclement weather.
Gates at GMHBA Stadium will open at 4:45pm.
