Melbourne City FC can confirm Ben Garrucio and the Club have agreed to mutually terminate the 21-year-old’s contract, effective immediately, allowing the defender to pursue another Hyundai A-League opportunity.
Garuccio joined the Club at the age of 17 from the Australian Institute of Sport and made a total of 45 senior appearances during his four seasons in Melbourne.
The full-back scored his one and only goal for the Club against the Central Coast Mariners in Round 20 of the 2015/16 season, playing a role in his side’s past two Semi-Final finishes.
The Club would like to thank Ben for his contribution and professionalism during his time at Melbourne City and wishes him the best in his future endeavours.
