Capacity confirmed for season opener

Get ready, football is back!

Melbourne City are excited to announce that a 50% stadium capacity for our opening Isuzu UTE A-League fixture against Brisbane Roar on Friday 19 November at AAMI Park has been confirmed.

Whilst it has been a tough couple of years for all Victorians, it is exciting to now look forward to a season with bigger crowds and a return to normality.

The following capacity limits and restrictions apply to our Round 1 fixture in line with the Victorian Government’s COVID-19 roadmap (Phase C – 80% of adults fully vaccinated).

We anticipate a further easing of restrictions when Victoria enters Phase D of its roadmap (90% of 12+ vaccinated) which is expected before our second home game against Western United.

Member exclusive redemption: 11.00am Wednesday 10 November
