As Official Grassroots Partner, Big M will be distributing five Big M Football Packs throughout the year. Yesterday was the first Football Pack that Big M will give away throughout the season. The packs include goals, balls, bibs and cones, giving local Victorian clubs much-needed additional equipment.

Big M also created an exciting fan activation, the ‘Big Moment’, using the magic of a green screen and camera to superimpose fans at the Family Day into stars on the AAMI Park pitch, and gave out Big M footballs at the event.

“Big M has been bringing a big history of flavours and active fun to Victorians since 1978 and so we can’t wait to share all of this and much more with the fans at the Melbourne City FC Family Day, powered by Big M,” said Darryn Wallace, the Marketing and Innovation Director at Lion Dairy & Drinks.

Melbourne City FC CEO, Scott Munn commented on the new partnership: “Melbourne City’s annual Family Day is the perfect opportunity to celebrate our new partnership with Big M. As we prepare for the start of the season, it is a great opportunity to bring fans together to meet the men’s and women’s teams, and we’re delighted that Big M will be part of it.”

As Official Recovery Drink partner, Melbourne City’s first team will be provided Big M as a recovery drink as it helps replenish their protein levels after matches.
