Melbourne City FC have been drawn at home against fellow Hyundai A-League side Western Sydney Wanderers in the Quarter Finals of the Westfield FFA Cup.
City qualified for the last eight of the tournament after defeating NPL Queensland Side Brisbane Strikers 2-1 at Perry Park last Wednesday.
John van’t Schip’s side will be looking to seal a second consecutive Semi Final berth at the expense of the Wanderers, who progressed to the Quarter Finals with a comfortable 5-1 win over Northern NSW side Edgeworth FC on Tuesday night
Specific match details in regards to venue, date and kick-off times for all Quarter Final ties will be announced in the coming weeks.
The Quarter Finals will see matches played across two nights with two matches being played per night. The possible match dates for the Quarter Finals are 20/21 September and 27 September.
