City to support bushfire victims with $2 from every ticket sold

City to support bushfire victims with $2 from every ticket sold

Melbourne City FC will show their support for the victims of the bushfires when the Club hosts Western United at AAMI Park tomorrow night.

From every ticket sold to Friday night’s match, $2 will be donated to the Bushfire Disaster Appeal.

The Bushfire Disaster Appeal has been established in support of community members affected by the recent bushfires in East Gippsland and Hume.

The appeal provides a formal channel for the public to donate money directly to affected communities and is designed to achieve positive outcomes for the community, by working directly with local recovery committees and structures to inform and drive the distribution of funds.

Additional donations to the disaster victims via the Bushfire Disaster Appeal can be made here or at any Bendigo Bank branch.

Tickets for City’s clash with Western United on Friday 3 January, kick off 7:30pm, can be purchased here.
