We’re excited to once again be hosting an open trial for talented young footballers across Melbourne!
2010 and 2011-born players will have the unique opportunity to trial for what is widely renowned as the best academy in Australia.

Successful players from the open trial will then be asked to join invitation-only trials later in the week, where they will have the chance to secure a place in City’s 2024 U14 Academy squad.
Applying the City Football Group methodology, Academy squads train four times a week and have access to elite coaching and support staff to aid player development.
In recent years the City Academy has produced countless high-quality talents such as Connor Metcalfe, Nathaniel Atkinson and Jordan Bos, who are now Socceroos regulars and plying their trade in Europe.
Players will have the opportunity to trial at Melbourne City’s training base in Casey Fields on Tuesday 10 October.
These will be free of charge, and we encourage any talented players who are serious about their football to come and trial for a place in the Academy.
