Melbourne City FC can announce it has finalised the Club’s Foxtel National Youth League squad for the 2016/17 season as Joe Palatsides’ side prepares to take on Conference A of the competition.

The squad boasts some of the Club’s most talented young prospects from the 2016 PS4 National Premier Leagues Victoria season and will look to replicate its 2014/15 heroics where they took out the Premiership on a dramatic final day.

Yaren Sozer, James Delianov, Bradley Clarke, Jordan Hall, Ali Eygun, Leo Athanasiou, Austin Wong, Luke Gallo and Gerrie Syladios have all spent time with John van’t Schip’s A-League squad over the pre-season and will prepare to take on the country’s best young talent this season.

Denis Genreau, Christian Cavallo and Braedyn Crowley have been selected as A-League scholarship players and will train with the first team squad during the 2016/17 season.

Palatsides will lead the side as Head Coach for his fifth season in charge and will be assisted by Lachlan Armstrong.

The National Youth League season kicks off on Saturday 12 November, with City’s first match of the season will against Adelaide United at CB Smith Reserve, kick-off 5pm.
