City’s Semi Final details confirmed

Melbourne City will head to Bankwest Stadium on Wednesday 26 August for its historic Semi Final ahead of the 2020 Hyundai A-League Finals Series.

In what is billed as a massive Semi Final double header, City will face the highest ranked Elimination Final winner at 5.00pm before Sydney FC takes on the lowest ranked Elimination Final winner at 8.10pm.

With the playoff teams finalised, positions within it the six are yet to be determined but what is know is that City can’t face Perth Glory – who finished sixth – in the Semi Final.

Western United, Brisbane Roar and Wellington Phoenix are still jostling for the final positions on the table which will determine who will finish third, fourth and fifth.

The Grand Final will be held on Sunday 30 August at Bankwest Stadium, kick-off 6.30pm.

The Club will also continue its City LIVE program for the Finals Series. The matchday coverage – hosted by Julian de Stoop and Thomas Sorensen on Facebook and YouTube – will cover all the pre-match buildup, take you live to the stadium with the team and provide all the pre-match, half-time and post-match analysis.
