Melbourne Heart FC has announced leading international recruitment firm Drake International as the Club-s sleeve sponsor after unveiling its long awaited away jersey.
Featuring a red sash on a white strip, Melbourne Heart FC-s evocative alternative kit is set to turn heads when the side takes to the park at away grounds around the nation during the upcoming Hyundai A-League season.
Heart Chief Executive Officer Scott Munn said: “As a Club with traditional football values, we wanted an away jersey which captured the essence of what we are about as an organisation.
“And with the unveiling of our new strip, we are confident we have achieved that, while also introducing a design which is unique to the Hyundai A-League.”
Established in 1951, Drake pioneered the concept that flexible staffing on a planned basis should be used as a management tool to improve efficiency and profits, growing from a single office to a now worldwide presence.
The company currently operates in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, New Zealand, South Africa, the United Kingdom, the United States and Singapore.
Drake’s operating philosophy is based on the principle that organisations achieve the highest level of performance when they are staffed with the right people, working with the right skills, knowledge and behaviours, using the best processes and technology-driven solutions, over an extended period of time.
Munn believes Drake-s partnership will provide a massive boost for the Club as it approaches its Hyundai A-League debut in August.
“Melbourne Heart FC is delighted to have Drake on board as our sleeve sponsor for the next two years, joining the Club as we embark on this exciting journey,” he said.
“To have a company of Drake-s international standing commit to a significant partnership with Melbourne Heart FC is a huge vote of confidence for the groundwork we have completed over the last eight months.”
Drake International Major Partnerships Manager Adam Vivian said: “Drake International is delighted to secure this partnership with the Melbourne Heart Football Club and we look forward to becoming part of the great community that Heart have already established and continue to build.
“We are confident that Melbourne Heart embodies our values and as a result we look forward to partnering with their inevitable success.
“Our association with Melbourne Heart will further strengthen our presence in Victorian business and allow us to build upon our brand presence in the Australian market. We are particularly impressed with Melbourne Heart’s regional focus as regional business is paramount to Drake’s ongoing success.”
