Melbourne City FC midfielder, Tolgay Arslan, faced Football Australia’s Disciplinary and Ethics Committee on Wednesday night after receiving a red card following City’s match against Perth Glory on Friday 2 February.
The Disciplinary and Ethics Committee determined that a three-match suspension – including the mandatory one-match suspension already served against Brisbane Roar last Saturday – was warranted in this instance.
Arslan will therefore be unavailable for selection until Melbourne City’s Round 19 clash against Macarthur FC.
The Club will be making no further comment at this time.
