Melbourne City FC can confirm that tonight’s FFA Cup fixture against Wellington Phoenix at Casey Fields has been postponed.
We have been advised by Football Australia that two FFA Cup fixtures scheduled for this evening will not go ahead due to confirmed positive COVID cases within one of the participating clubs, and potential close and/or casual contact exposure to representatives of another participating club.
We would like to thank the local south-east community for supporting this match, in particular the local football clubs who all got behind it and we will share information on the rescheduled date as soon as we have it.
