You’ll have your chance to see your City boys in action a little sooner than expected, with a pre-season friendly now locked in less than two weeks from now!
For the second pre-season in a row, we’ll face NPL Victoria side, Dandenong Thunder at George Andrews Reserve.
The clash will be played on Wednesday 9 August and is set to kick-off at 7:30pm, giving City fans a chance to see the team in action prior to our first competitive fixture in the Australia Cup.

The teams met at a similar stage in last year’s pre-season, a mixture of youth and experience in action for City that night.
Young gun Max Caputo was one of the names on the scoresheet in the 3-2 win, and City fans will hope to see him receiving some key minutes once again as he looks to earn more senior opportunities after some impressive NPL form.
Tickets to this pre-season friendly can be purchased at the gate, with adults priced at $10, concessions $7, and children under the age of 12 going free.
